This app is a companion for David E. Kiefer's Greek textbook, FirstThings First. It contains flashcards for all of its vocabulary,organized by lesson. Most of the purple reference section at theend of the book is also included. In addition to studying the termsand forms like flashcards, you can view them in a searchable list.This is a great way to find the definition of a word quickly, usingthe exact definition you studied! For the most benefit, install aGreek language option for your keyboard. The number of occurrencesin the New Testament for each flashcard is built into the app. Itcan quiz you on the most common words and forms first,concentrating on them until you learn them before moving on to lessimportant ones. There are twomodes(three in the paid version); each one takes more effort to usebutincreases accuracy:* Live: In Live mode, you simply use the app asastopwatch. Enter the distance traveled during that time, andittells you the speed. This mode is great for quick estimateswhenexact timing is not crucial, such as a foot race, or a full lapofa car race.* Two Frame: The principle here is the same as in Livemode,but instead you record a video of the moving object. Stepthroughthe frames of the video to tell the app exactly when itcrossed thestart and end points. This mode allows you to take moreaccuratereadings of faster objects.* Six Point: This mode is only available in the paidversion(not this free version).
